How do I ensure my concrete will last?

You can take different precautions to increase the life and maintain the integrity of the concrete:

  • The use of high quality materials such as cement, aggregate and clean water are used to make and lay the concrete.
  • Proper delivery and placement (including grade preparation).
  • Proper curing and sealing methods utilized.
  • Proper reinforcement used (e.g. rebar or fiber reinforcement).

What do I do with my leftover concrete?

If you have concrete left over after you are finished pouring, you can send it back on the truck to our yard and we will dispose of it without any additional charges. If you would like the driver to take it to another location that you want to pour it at, you may be subject to a delivery charge. In addition, you need to let the dispatcher know prior to pouring that you want to do this for scheduling purposes.

How long before I can drive on my concrete?

This depends on what you're driving (the weight of the vehicle), the type of concrete used (sack content and mix design) and how the concrete was placed (if proper placement methods were followed or the mix was altered). Generally, it will be ok to drive on after about one week.
